To our Parks Heritage Membership:

The Parks Heritage FCU Annual Meeting will be held on May 22, 2019 at 5:30pm at 5 Murray Street, Glens Falls, NY. For 2019, there are two Board vacancies, and the Nominating Committee has made the following nominations:

Cathy Bolton: Cathy is a retired Registered Nurse from the Glens Falls Hospital. She was the manager of the GI Center and worked there since its inception in 1981. She previously worked in Obstetrics and the IV Department. She is a graduate of The Buffalo General Hospital School of Nursing. Professionally she is a member of the Central New York Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates and has served on that board in several positions and as president for 2 terms. In addition, she served seven years on the American Board for Certifying Gastroenterology Nurses in the position as a board member and as president. She was the recipient of the Gabrielle Schindler Award by SGNA for Professional and Clinical Excellence and the Nurse of Distinction Award from the Glens Falls Hospital. She has been a board member of Parks Heritage FCU for more than 15 years, currently in the position as Secretary.

Steven Van Guilder: Steven is currently the Executive Director of the Moreau Rescue Squad. Steven has held various positions within the squad since 1995. He has over 23 years of clinical care and transportation at a basic life support level of practice. Steven has been awarded with the distinction of EMS Agency of the Year. As Chief Executive Officer of the Moreau Emergency Squad, Inc., Steven has been awarded for leadership and excellence in the field of Emergency Medical Services, Regional EMS Council, and Hudson Mohawk Valleys Regional Emergency Medical Organization.
Steven has been a member of PHFCU since 2002.
Steven enjoys traveling and vacationing in Disney with his family. He resides in Glens Falls with his wife Nicole.

Richard Smith: Richard joined the Parks Heritage Supervisory Committee in December 2018. He is currently employed as the Director of Nursing Business Operations at Glens Falls Hospital and enjoys partnering with a diverse team of professionals to identify and solve improvement opportunities to provide the community with streamlined healthcare delivery. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and is working towards becoming a fellow with the organization.
Richard is originally from North Carolina and moved to Glens Falls with his wife, Carolyn, in the summer of 2017. His hobbies include hiking, playing with his two dogs, running, and skiing.

Joe Kiefl: Joe is the Director of the Wound Center at Glens Falls Hospital. He joined the hospital in 2016 after previous stops at Albany Memorial Wound Center and St. Vincent’s Wound Center. Joe is on numerous committees within the hospital. Joe graduated SUNY Oswego in 2008 with a degree in history and business.
Joe is an avid golfer and sport fanatic. He currently runs numerous golf leagues in our area golf courses. He enjoys the scenic lifestyle the Adirondack’s have been known to offer.
Joe lives in Queensbury with his wife Devin and their daughter Caroline.

Nominations for the vacancies may also be made by petition signed by at least 1% of the membership with a minimum of 20 signatures due by April 8, 2019. If there is ultimately only one nominee for each position to be filled after the petition deadline, there will be no nominations from the floor and the election will not be conducted by electronic/written ballot. Please remit nominations to the attention of the Parks Heritage FCU Board Nomination Committee at the address above.
